Rental demand surge likely due to anti-virus measures

Rental demand for both private apartments and HDBs surged in March from February. The private rental market was up 10.9% while the HDB rental market was up 15.4%. Ms Christine Sun, Orange Tee & Tie's head of research and consultancy, comments on possible reasons for the increase in rental volume, as well as on rental prices.
