Sales of newer HDB flats hit 9-year high in 2019

Sales of newer flats rose by 33.4% up from 2018, hitting a nine-year high in numbers. Ms Christine Sun, head of Research and Consultancy at OrangeTee & Tie believes that it is due to the higher education and rising incomes of the younger generation, desiring to upgrade to a bigger flat or private property after their first purchase.
