SG, 10 Oct 2020 Prices of projects well on their way to being completed in the next few years will not be impacted by the latest relief measures which offer another six months extension for project completions. This is due to projects which are already majority sold will not likely face completion delays. Despite some disruptions due to the pandemic, some projects are ahead of schedule.
Christine Sun, OrangeTee & Tie head of research and consultancy, also does not think there will be a major impact on prices for projects that have sold at least 50-70 per cent of their units. Projects are usually released for sale in batches, to see buyers' reception to prices, and adjusted accordingly.
