Synopsis/ Course Description
This module provides salespersons with a concise overview of Singapore industrial property landscape and its policy-driven development framework. It examines recent demand and supply trends for industrial land and space, and explains how development is guided by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and its statutory boards, including an introduction to Industry Transformation Maps. Participants gain insights into major industrial developments and land-use planning. The course highlights Singapore transition into the 5th Industrial Revolution and its impact on industrial property needs. Case studies train salespersons to manage legacy ownerships, match trade uses to suitable properties, and guide client compliance.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

- Differentiate the Singapore Industrial Property Market from the Residential Property Market.

- Better qualify and serve industries favoured by the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and understand how industrial land use is guided in Singapore.

- Understand the different types of legal ownership structures of industrial properties in Singapore.

- Gain a basic understanding of the legal and administrative processes involved in industrial property transactions.

- Have an overview of the key buyers, sellers and stakeholders (“players”) in the Singapore Industrial Property Market.
