Synopsis/ Course Description

This Generic CPD is designed to provide real estate salespersons with essential knowledge and strategies to prevent rental scams in Singapore. Sharing various case studies from the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) and the Singapore Police Force (SPF), participants will develop a thorough understanding of the different types and methods of rental scams and property agent impersonations. This information will enable them to better assist their clients and safeguard themselves against becoming victims of such residential property scams.

Learning Outcomes

After the session, learners will understand and be able to communicate with Residential Landlords and Tenants on:

• Overview of Scams in Singapore.
• Explore Rental Scams in Singapore.
• Case studies of Rental Scams transactions.
• Understand CEA Consumer Advisory on Rental Scams.
• Understand Police Advisory on Rental Scams.

Certification

A Certificate of Attendance and 2 Generic CPD Credits will be awarded to participants upon completing the course.

Venue

This training course will be held at OT Achiever Room, Level 13 OrangeTee building.
